The name of this wine, Studio by Miraval, was not chosen by chance. In 1977, jazz musician Jacques Loussier, the owner of the estate at the time, had a recording studio built there, & hosted international artists of the caliber of Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, AC DC, Wham, Sting, The Cranberries, Rammstein, Chris Rea, & French artists such as Indochine, Telephone, & Bashung. Turning their back on the famous studios of London & elsewhere, they came for the quality of the sound but also for the inspiration procured by this place that the current owners firmly intend to preserve.
