Please note: Overtime charges will be applied automatically in accordance with the HIGA award in the following situations:
- A staff member is requested to work over 12 hours in a single day.
- A staff member is requested to work more than 38 hours in a calendar week.
Please contact the Hampr team to book a staff member for more than 12 hours in a day or over 38 hours in a week & Hampr will advise the relevant overtime rates.
Booking & Cancellations:
- Cancellations must be advised at least 24 hours prior to the shift start time.
- Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 4-hour minimum call out fee for each confirmed member of staff.
- The minimum notice for the cancellation of shifts on New Years Eve & Melbourne Cup day is 7-days.
- Cancellations must be made via email during Office Hours & confirmed with a JRM Office Coordinator.
- Travel time may be applicable to sites outside of Sydney City, Brisbane City or Melbourne City & will be confirmed with the client prior to shifts being confirmed.
Breaks:
• All staff must be given appropriate breaks as per the award.
• For shifts longer than six (6) hours, staff must be provided with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
• Where an unpaid meal break is not provided, you will be charged an hourly meal break allowance (in addition to the hourly rate) from the end of 6 hours after starting work until either the employee is allowed to take the break, or the shift ends.
